Long-Term Care Insurance

This type of insurance is coverage that provides assistance with home care, home-health care, assisted living and nursing home payments for individuals aged 65 or older or individuals with chronic or disabling conditions that need constant supervision. Long-term care insurance usually covers all or a portion of home care or assisted living facilities depending on the severity of the condition and the benefits selected with their policy. Long-term care insurance is needed for people who do not have children or family members who can take care of them, or if they are unable to rely on them to do so. And even though these plans can be expensive, the premiums will be MUCH CHEAPER than covering the costs of home care or assisting living out of pocket.
