Supplemental Health Insurance
What is Supplemental Health Insurance?
Supplemental health insurance is coverage that pays for costs above and beyond what standard health insurance policies will cover. And in some cases, may pay coinsurance, copays, and deductibles. This type of insurance includes long term and short-term disability, critical illness, long-term care, recovery care, hospital indemnity, accident, dental, vision, travel and prescription plans. The policies will pay benefits to either the insured or to the health care provider. And you can spend the cash any way you choose if it is paid to you and not directly to your health care provider.
Benefits include:
- Low cost coverage that can help pay for expenses related to your health and medical care needs
- Can provide coverage for gaps in your traditional health insurance and life insurance policies
- Benefits are not affected by your traditional health insurance and life insurance benefits
If you’re not sure which plans would best benefit you or have any other questions, please fill out our contact form below. One of our licensed representatives will reach out to you to discuss your specific situation and evaluate what type of policy/policies would best suit your needs.
